Guillermo Gusano nació bajo tierra en una familia de ingenieros de túneles. Cuando era un gusano joven, Guillermo tenía las cualidades de un líder. La misión de su familia siempre ha sido sostener el bosque y ayudar al ambiente a través del reciclaje. Y Guillermo se ha tomado esta misión en serio. Aunque los gusanos evitan la luz, el mundo reconoce su invaluable contribución al ambiente, con Guillermo a la vanguardia. Hoy, Guillermo reside con Wanda, Roberto, Juan y Héctor y el resto de los gusanos bajo tierra debajo del árbol grande a orillas del Canal de Panamá.

Conocí a Guillermo después de que una inundación arrasó los túneles familiares. Sin desanimarse por la devastación, todos se dedicaron a reparar los daños. Mientras observaba a estos valientes gusanitos continuar con su trabajo de reciclaje, supe lo que tenía que hacer. Aquí hay una idea de la vida de un gusano y el buen trabajo que hacen por el mundo.

William Worm was born beneath the dirt to a family of tunnel engineers. As a young worm, William had the makings of a leader. Their family’s mission has always been to sustain the forest and help the environment through recycling. And William has taken this mission seriously. Though earthworms avoid the light, the world recognizes their priceless contribution to the environment, with William in the vanguard. Today, William resides with his brother Robert, his cousins John and Hector, his good friend Wanda, and the rest of the worms beneath the dirt under the big tree on the banks of the Panama Canal.

I met William after a flood had washed out the family tunnels. Undaunted by the devastation, everyone got busy repairing the damage. As I watched these brave little worms get on with their work of recycling, I knew what I had to do. Here is an insight into the life of a worm and the good work they do for the world.
