Meditation of Anxieties
This short story collection deals with themes of letting oneself give in to one’s darker inclinations. In some cases, choosing to remain wounded, not doing the work of getting better, and responding to the world from that state. Some stories are expressions of disillusion with religion or allowing the dark sides of Catholic mythology to become more real in one’s life. Most of these stories involve a struggle with hope and hopelessness and finding oneself in the latter, be it by choice or not.
